Capping Equipment

WEIGHTPACK manufactures it's own capping equipment.
Cappers are available as stand alone units or as part of a filling system in sizes to fit virtually any speed requirement.

MECHANICAL CAPPERS feature the latest in technology, including:
  • Double Track Main Cam design (top track opens the jaws, while the lower track moves the head upand down)
  • Three separate chucks on each capping jaw to provide positive control of the cap
  • All drive gears matched material choices for best long term wear characteristics to minimize wearand reduce noise
  • Low Hysterisis Magnetic capping heads eliminating cap damage due to "ratcheting"

ELECTRONIC CAPPERS available as an option featuring all the design improvements mentioned above and in addition:

  • Each capping head individually driven by servo motors
  • Torque Control with statistical readout
  • Total control of capping head revolutions
  • Quick release capping heads
  • Ability to recognize position of bottle and cap and orient cap for specific placement
