Net Weight Electronic Fillers

The WFT "Carrousel Style" filler is a net-weight electronic filler designed to meet the majority of production requirements. All WEIGHTPACK Fillers are available as individual units or as part of filling systems that include capping and/or other requirements.

Main Features of the Filler:
  • Net weight gravity-metering filling system.
  • Continuous electronic control of the filling process.
  • Electronic self correction of the filled weight for each station at every revolution.
  • Hygiene guaranteed by a "clean" design of all the parts in contact with the product.
  • Small product holding tank to facilitate clean-up and product changeover
  • Options available to meet USDA 3A Dairy Standards.
  • Commercial software designed for ease of customer use
  • Stainless steel construction.
  • Mechanical simplicity - many parts specially designed to minimize wear
  • Wide range of dimensions and capacities of the containers that can be handled.
  • Three pitches: 141mm, 188mm, 282mm
  • Different models to handle virtually any speed requirement
  • High accuracy on a wide variety of products
  • Overpressure capability for speed and accuracy control at varying viscosities
  • Drip-free filling
  • Laminar flow nozzles designed to provide gentle product handling and minimum product foaming
  • Can be equipped for anti-corrosion and explosion-proof.
  • Fully integrated and guarded systems to meet the most stringent safety standards
  • Basic CIP standard on all units

Controlling Weights Out of Required Tolerances:
The filler gives a weight reject signal on free contacts for any device that will make the rejection down stream of the filler, for any container that has not met the required fill tolerance. If the system includes our capper with reject, this condition would be one of the several that could trigger a container to be rejected automatically at the discharge of the Monobloc.

Filling Cycle Description:

  • The product is contained in a hygienic tank and is not subjected to any friction, compression or turbulence.
  • All parts of the machine in contact with the product are 316 L.
  • Each container processed by the machine is weighed before, during and after completion of the filling cycle.
  • Each station operates independent, continuous weight detection during the filling cycle.
  • The system guarantees a high precision of filling.
  • The filling nozzles ensure an absolutely drip free filling.
  • For high viscosity products the tank can be pressurized (max. 0.5Bar).

Other Features:

  • Rugged stainless steel construction.
  • Filler/capper, infeed conveyor and infeed helix are all gear driven.
  • State-of-the-art electronics that are operator friendly.
  • New DESIGNER based software and industrial controls.
  • Anti-corrosion and explosion-proof designs available.
  • New "Hygienic" model for food, and personal care products: special design and construction eliminates accumulation of product and resulting bacteria growth.
  • Patented filling valve means no "O" rings, no filling tubes, no screens and no foam.
  • Wide range of machine sizes: Fillers from 4 to 64 valves, stand-alone, monobloc and tri-blocs.
  • North and South American manufacturing, sales and service from Richmond metropolitan area.
  • Multi-lingual manuals and documentation
